Inspired by the classic steamer chairs once commonly found on cruise ship decks, the New Port Deck Chair brings the tranquility and relaxed elegance of the seaside to your garden, poolside, or patio. Crafted from solid teak, the chair’s frame folds flat for storage and can be adjusted to various backrest positions, ranging from an upright position for reading to a fully reclined position for napping.
The seat and backrest are upholstered in dark gray Batyline mesh—a breathable, quick-drying material that remains comfortable even in direct sunlight—while polished stainless steel hinges and fittings ensure every joint stays smooth and sturdy even after repeated folding. The New Port footrest is integrated directly into the seat frame and can be pulled out in a single motion to transform it into a lounge chair. Interestingly, this footrest can also be completely removed.
As part of our Outdoor Living collection, the New Port Deck Chair is designed to be folded and stored at the end of the season, allowing it to be brought out again looking as good as new the following season.
