Amalfi Dining Chair design takes its cue from the Amalfi coast of Italy, where pastel villas cling to the cliffs and every table seems set for long, unhurried lunches. In turquoise it borrows the colour of the water below: bright, clear and quietly cheerful. It is a very modern, playful chair, one that gives a dining table its own small stretch of coastline.
The integrated weaving forms a deep, open shell that wraps around the sitter, and the whole form is lifted on slender steel legs set in a fine, geometric lattice. A white seat cushion softens the shell and keeps the colour crisp. Like the coast it is named for, the wider Amalfi collection features a huge assortment of colours to mix and match, as well as some of our more premium fibres, so a set of chairs can be styled quietly or boldly.
